I finally purchased my plane ticket to Africa!! I'm so excited to be going...and I'm incredibly grateful for all of the support I've received thus far. I can't believe I'm actually going. It is strange to have a dream that I found to be so distant suddenly seem so close to becoming reality. That probably sounds cliche in a minor sense, but cliches tend to become cliches because they are inherently true for most people. Anyway, I want to begin writing a lot more on this so that people can track and follow me here, but mostly when I'm in Africa. :) So this is the first of many posts to come...
the news for now:
a little stressed about school stuff
mostly very excited about Africa
so happy to have the love and support I do
getting a tad bit nervous
not sure what to take!
starting to learn Swahili!! :)
